Make Money Online

Hey guys,

I’d like to start off the weekend with the chance to win some money! How does that sound? This is my first ever blog contest, and it’ll be short and simple.

I’m working to touch up my blog again, and I’m getting a nice logo to help “brand” News Notion. The thing is, I can’t properly brand my blog if I don’t have a catchy slogan to go with it!

I need some help. And I’m willing to give some money as a reward! So, put your creative minds to the test and give me some ideas for my new slogan! The slogan I pick will be used on this blog for as long as it lives (or until I want a new one) and the winner will receive $20 and of course recognition. You can enter up to three slogans and they must be original! You should incorporate what this blog is about, which is teaching others how to make money online. Leave me your ideas in a comment on this post!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention when this ended! Get your entries in by Tuesday, September 4th. On Wednesday or Thursday, instead of just announcing the winner, I’ll display the winner’s slogan on the blog! Of course then I’ll make the official announcement.

Good Luck!

If you haven’t heard it yet, then let me be the one to tell you. The newest phenomenon to make money online is here and it’s not waiting for you to jump aboard!

Wikipedia-like websites are being created and instead of making it a free open directory, it’s a paid directory. That’s right. If you want a page, you’ve got to pay.

How can I make money online with these wikipedia type websites?

You can make money easy! Here’s how:

1) Sell the page to someone else for more.

If you have a good word and the wiki website is gaining more and more traffic, put the page up for sale. That’s instant profit right there. The page is up virtually forever, or for as long the site is running, so people will be willing to spend money for a good word or phrase.

2) Stick affiliate links on the page where you can.

Depending on what word you have, you should try and stick affiliate links here and there. This will only work for some pages (it wouldn’t make sense to try and get sign ups for text link ads on a page about animals) so if you want to make money this way you have to pick the right word!

3) Get targeted traffic to your website and convert into earnings.

Having a whole page about one topic and sending readers to your website for more information related to your topic is PERFECT. If you have any PPC advertising on your website, and your website or blog is all about the word your wiki page is about, then you’ll have no problem getting traffic and some clicks off of the visitors. Depending on how much you advertise on the page and how well your ad placement is, you will cover the cost of the page and more in no time. And if you think you don’t need to advertise on the page anymore, sell the page off to someone else.

So, want to grab your own page now?

Here are some “paid to wiki” sites:

CashQuests is an amazing blog, I check it a couple of times per day even though I know posts are published once a day/every other day. But each and every day CashQuests becomes eviler and eviler.

The thing is, it’s absolutely brilliant! Once you see this sneaky little trick, you’ll wish you would have thought of it first.

Step 1: CashQuests buys Post Level TLA’s on John Chow.

Step 2: CashQuests gets FREE exposure and a link by buying post level ad’s on John Chow.

Step 3: CashQuests runs a promotion where you can get a free post level text link on John Chow. All you have to do is sign up for TLA’s under their referral, and CashQuests will send you $7 to cover the cost.

Now if you haven’t caught it yet and aren’t ripping the hair out of your head, read this- it will blow your mind!

While you are easily drawn into CashQuests’ promotion for a FREE John Chow text link, CashQuests will send you you’re measly $7 laughing. Why? Because they just made $18 off you that easily.

Still don’t get it?

Text Link Ad’s referral program is nice. You get a straight up $25 for each person you refer as an advertiser that makes a purchase.

Huh?

Hello! CashQuests just milked money off of you! You sign up, CashQuests personally gives you money to make sure you make a purchase, and they get $25. That’s an $18 profit and with 650+ subscribers, that will turn into a lot of money.

Do you see it now?

It’s genius! Pure genius! Their referral gladly makes a purchase without spending their own money, and CashQuests gets their $7 back and more! Is it driving you insane? Is it making you unbelievably jealous? It had that effect on me too.

I was going to try and see if I could pull it off too, but I probably couldn’t do it as well as CashQuests did it. Instead, I’ll be punching my pillow, jumping around, and screaming with pure envy! CashQuests admits they know John Chow inside and out, and indeed they do! Everyone knows John Chow is one of the evilest bloggers in the sphere, and he’s teaching his readers well. CashQuest is certainly John Chow’s best apprentice.

Disclaimer: I freaking love CashQuests and everything I say about the blogger being evil is to be taken lightly. This idea was really good and if I wasn’t signed up for TLA already, I would have definitely taken up on this offer. On the other hand, CashQuests IS really evil and genius so don’t let all the orange tell you differently.
