Make Money Online

So, school has just started about a month weeks ago and I am now facing my biggest challenge for my blog.

I am in 10th grade, taking an AP class, three honors classes, and four other classes with loads of homework! Alongside school I am a member of a club called Youth Rise, so this challenge should be interesting. Balancing out school with work has been a bit tricky so far. I started my blog as the last school year was ending so it was pretty calm and the classes I took were easy.

This will put my commitment skills to the test and see if I can get through the school year and still manage to have my blog running successfully. I do not expect to slack on keeping my blog updated; if I do miss one day in the week I hope you’ll understand why. The quality of my posts will not worsen- I’d rather miss one day of posting than writing some sloppy post just to fill in something for the day.

I wish blogging and working online was my full time job but unfortunately I have an education to pursue. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to just sit back and let the money roll in as my job. Haha!

Sketchcasting is a way to express yourself by recording sound and writing/drawing at the same time. I decided to give it a try and made a video listing some ways to make money online.

Check it out:

It was a lot trickier than you think. It’s hard to type/draw perfectly and talk at the same time so I decided to keep myself quiet while listing the ways. This took like 2 billion takes and it’s still not perfect, but I am only human.

I was thinking about doing video posts once in a while, what would you guys think of that idea?

SponsoredReviews isn’t turning out as well as I hoped it would- I’ll explain that later though. So, I thought in order to efficiently save time, I’d conquer testing out another Paid to Blog website, Smorty.

Here’s a run down of my first impressions of Smorty.

The Look and Feel

The first thing you’ll notice with Smorty is the green and orange just popping out at you. When you sign up and log in your account home will be the same soothing green color. Green triggers the feeling of money, or at least it does for me.

Navigating Through Smorty

Navigation couldn’t be simpler either. The structure of Smorty is simple and straight forward. You sign up, log in, and everything you need is on one page. Your dashboard gives you details on your earnings, posts taken and approved, available opportunities, and pending opportunities. Once you’ve accepted an opportunity, you need to publish the review and let Smorty know before time runs out.

Acceptance

To be accepted into Smorty’s paid to blog program, you have to meet the criteria. It’s pretty similar to other get paid to blog sites:

There are over 25 criteria for each blog to be approved, however here are a few examples:

* Your blog must be indexed by Google and Yahoo
* Your blog must be older than 3 months
* Your blog must not contain any violent, hate related or adult content
* Your blog must be active and have a history of minimum average 2 new posts per week
* The blog must not have duplicate posts or excessive duplicate content

I was accepted less than two days after submitting News Notion, so it’s a quick process.

I want to make money now!

Have no fear. What’s a great benefit to being accepted into Smorty is they give you an opportunity to make money by blogging as soon as your blog is accepted. You can review their site and make some money on your first day.

This is my first opportunity done from Smorty, once I’ve been with them for some time I’ll let you know my experiences! If you want to make money from blogging, than check out Smorty and see how much money you can make.
