The year has gone and come, and like all the previous years and years to come, mistakes were made. Here are 18 disappointments that were passed through the Sphere in 2007. Hopefully, we won’t repeat these, but instead make room for new ones!

“Who the heck is John Chow?”
“So, I haven’t tried this out yet but everyone else says it’s a good money maker so I’ll just talk about it without any experience anyways.”
“Buy my eBook!”
“Umm, hey can you teach me how to make money online?”
“My blog has been hacked and I forgot to back it up!”
“John Cow is hacked! Nooo!”
“As long as I put out good content, the traffic will come to ME.”
“Kids can’t teach us how to make money online!”
“I’m eager to see when and what the new Cash Quests owner will provide us with.

I remember “The Pagerank update should happen any day now!” a lot. People were so nervous and eager for the update, it was just hilarious.

Too funny! A coworker was telling me about AdSense like (1) it’s the best thing in history and (2) I’d never heard of it … it really sounded a lot like “you can get paid just to be on the internet” … which is your #1 disappointment on your list.
Remember the episode of The Simpsons where they get cable? Homer chuckles at the TV, saying “It’s funny because it’s true.”
