Agloco Update

In this post, I described a website that had a coming soon feature that would allow you to earn money by just being on the internet. Agloco.com had stated in their blog that it would be released within the week. Well, it’s been a month.
I recently checked up on their blog a few days ago, to figure out what was taking so long, and they have finally updated us on the status. On April 30th, they have claimed that they “will launch this week”.
I am beginning to have more and more doubts about Agloco. Why?

1) They are over a month late.

This looks bad. Not only because it makes people angry, but it shows that they slack. I wonder how far off from their posted date they will do payouts.

2) How much will we be making? Not yet!

They haven’t told us how much we will be making per hour. They haven’t even begun to determine those figures yet. So, even when the Viewbar actually does come out, we most likely will be let down because we will make maybe a few cents or a couple bucks per hour. And, the minimum payout will probably be set at a high level. Earning $20 could be months away.

3) Don’t expect to even hear the word “payouts” for a few months.

That’s right. Though they may be releasing the Viewbar “soon”, they aren’t doing payouts for a couple of months.

Cash Distributions: To be a sustainable entity in the long term, AGLOCO makes Member cash distributions from its positive cash flow (revenue minus costs). Therefore, please do not expect a check after the first couple of months as it will take time to collect revenue from advertisers and this revenue must exceed costs in order to make cash distributions to Members.

This was part of the e-mail sent to all of the members. Even if the months come and go, we are all taking a risk by hoping that they make money out of this thing.

I am not saying you have to lose complete hope. I am just saying that you should have some doubts, and be prepared to be let down if necessary.
