A lot of bloggers these days are making the switch from Google Adsense to selling advertisements directly to advertisers. It’s all about cutting out the middle man. In this series I’ll show you how to efficiently sell ads, where and how many ads you should have on your blog, and why you should cut out the middle man.

Let’s start with why?

Why should I get rid of Google Adsense?

There are tons of reasons to get rid of adsense, or kontera, or any PPC program. Here are some major reasons not to stick around:

You are getting ripped off. If you didn’t know that the company that you serve your PPC ads from gets a big cut if your money, than you’re living in a dream world. They take a chunk of what you make away from you. Most take around 50%! You just don’t know it because they take it before they tell you how much the click was worth to you.

It’s a guessing game. Your income depends on how many visitors are going to click on an ad. This could be really well one day, and horrible the next. This causes your monthly revenue to fluctuate greatly! You have a blog to run here, you shouldn’t have to deal with that additional stress.

You can always get more somewhere else. It’s a simple concept. If they are taking a cut of the money, that means you aren’t getting all of it! Which means, you COULD be getting all of it!

Benefits of cutting out the middle man for publishers:

-More money

-Steady income

-You make the calls

-No minimum payout

Benefits of cutting out the middle man for advertisers:

-It’s personal and direct

-You get to choose which sites

-99% targeted traffic

-You’ll get more traffic because let’s face it- most webmasters and common internet users are adsense blind!

-One bill: none of that CPC crap

What’s even better is there isn’t really a negative side to getting rid of adsense. Sure it requires a bit of extra work, but if you want to make money online than you have to work for it. Part 2 will hit ya tomorrow!
