Let me tell you, I am not good with commitment. I can’t stick to things. I try to develop a website, and the next second I get bored and too lazy to finish what I started.
This blog is the longest thing I have committed to (Well, besides a forum that I administer) as a web project. It took a lot out of me to stick to this blog for the long ride. Okay, I may be being a BIT dramatic since I’ve only been doing this for around three months, but it’s still a lot of work. And you know what? A lot of bloggers don’t make it through their first three months. I’m past it now. And I plan on being here longer than that.
You will feel accomplished to commit to something. Just find that strength inside you!
The feeling of progress will be rewarding enough. But, also the comments, contact from readers with questions, and of course some money too, feels great! Just try, try, try, to stick to it!

I think the more you like something, the easier it is to commit. Blogs are like boyfriends – if you are bored with ‘em, you’ll lose interest and move onto something better.
Haha! Nice similie Angela.
I think you’re right. Most bloggers give up within the first three months so you’ve made it past the cut off. Blogging about stuff that interests you also helps with the motivation.
Absolutely true. Most of the bloggers that fail within three months are probably ones that just picked a profitable niche and researched it, with no interest in doing it whatsoever.
Well, When I was teenager, i did’t really have much commitment as well. In my opinion, commitment come if we know the end result we want to get. It is like journey, if we keep move forward we will achieve our destination.
Great point! You’re right too.
