So I’ve sold out all four ad spots for the month. I am so proud of myself! This is a big accomplishment for both me and News Notion. This truly shows two things I’ve learned by selling these spots:

1) You don’t (and shouldn’t) have to rely on Google Adsense.

2) Any blog or website, no matter how big or small, can make money online.

It’s funny because today I got not only one inquiry but TWO asking for that last ad spot. Fortunately for one, they sent the e-mail two hours before the other one. I had to be fair and give it to them first but I’ll let Ryan know when they become available again.

About the second part of the title, you’re probably wondering why the hell John Chow would want to buy an advertising spot on YOUR blog. Well the truth is, I don’t know either. But he’s looking to buy some 300 x 250 ad spots that go beside each post. If you’ve got a good price for him and want to make money not relying on adsense, I’d send him an e-mail.

How much do you think I should ask him for my in post ad spot? Is $500 too expensive? ;)
