That is: even if people aren't reading them, they are worth it for the commenter! Commenting is an expression of brief thoughts in reaction to what you read. I started putting together a list of forums that <a href="http://www.swollenpickles.com/2007/07/17/list-of-forums-that-allow-dofollow-signature-links/" rel="nofollow">allow dofollow signature links</a>. They are a good place to start as you have to potential to double your benefit.
