Wow I just checked my Alexa ranking, and it seems I have gotten out of the 200,000 zone. Eek! In a good way. That’s right. I am now ranked 198,342. This is a huge accomplishment for my blog and I am very pleased! Thanks so much to all of you that come each day to read my blog. (And sorry for not posting anything new today)
I now need to change my Alexa blog goal to get even lower. I know I will be able to! Getting under 100,000 will probably spark a contest in News Notion, and actually with the pagerank update around the corner, if I get a good pagerank (3+ please!) that will probably influence me to start a contest as well. So keep coming to News Notion as I am always trying to reward my readers with some love back.

Update: Thanks to Court, I’ve just learned that by installing an Alexa widget on my blog, it can help give the site a more accurate ranking. Now you don’t need the Alexa toolbar to see my site’s rank, just check the sidebar. (I still use the toolbar though)

now the alexa toolbar is out for firefox we’ll probably notice a few more ups and downs in the alexa scores. just a theory i have.
