No, it is not possible. A Google Pagerank update that actually GAVE Pagerank instead of taking away from those that sell links? And wait a second- MY blog was given a Pagerank?
I heard about the Pagerank update this morning on Problogger, and when I heard it wasn’t Google taking away from more blogs but instead giving Pagerank, I ran to my blog so fast I ran out of eBreath!
The toolbar Pagerank update has hit the internet. Finally! After months and months of discussing, bashing, and crying over the delayed update, it is finally here. Unfortunately, Pagerank talk won’t end. The flood of posts in the blogosphere letting everyone know it’s happened will go on for a few more days. And, we will have those who are unhappy with their Pagerank that will continue to cry about it.
Fortunately for me, I am as happy as I can be! This is my first fully developed website, ever, and I have never experienced the thrill of Google’s torture toy. News Notion has been granted a PR3! Is that really something I should be happy about? Of course it is!! Sure, I might have been predicted a PR4, but are those ever accurate? I’m proud of myself and have finally accomplished my blog goal of getting at least a PR2 on my blog.
Go ahead and laugh at me and my eTears, but both Courtney Tuttle and John Cow are PR3′s as well. And those are big boys! As for Cash Quests- you suck! Haha, I am totally jealous of Cash Quests because they are a PR5 and they sell links! Does that mean they had the potential of being a PR6? Who knows…
I’m going to run around and check some old blog posts and see if they were given any PR love. I doubt it, but I’m willing to check! If you find any, let me know!

The only question I have now is, “Are the PR updates to our sites finalized, or are we just seeing fluctuations?” (Maybe that’s just me being optimistic ha ha)

I’ve just checked my own blog, and am quite amazed to report that I’ve somehow been given a PR4. This must be a good thing, but I can’t say it’s affected my traffic in anyway (before the update I was a n/a)…
