Hey kids it’s me Bush again, subbing in for Casey. I just looked at the ol’ calendar, and it looks like there aren’t too many days left in 2007. This of course means that it’s time for New Years Resolutions!
Now personally, I’ve never been one that likes making New Years Resolutions, because it always seems that weighing down a resolution with the title “New Years” makes it destined to fail in the long term. Do you kinda know what I mean? I’d much rather make a change when it’s time to make a change, and work hard to carry it into the future, New Years or not.
In any event however, this weekend might be a great time to spend some intimate time with your blog and other online endeavors and try and analyze where you are and where you want to go. I’ve been doing it over on my blog starting WITH my blog, and soon to continue to my other projects.
Is there anything you want to jump start in the new year? Any new revenue goals or new projects you’ve let sit on the back burner?

I think it’s so important not only to make goals and resolutions for your life, but to make them for your blog too. Setting goals helps you stay focused, helps you get somewhere and achieve something. Without them, I might forget what the purpose of what I’m doing is, or just get lazy and not do much at all.
I’m announced my blogging goals for the New Year on January 1. By announcing them, I can let my readers know where I intend to take things, and then I’ll also have eye witnesses of those goals so I won’t just give up.
I can’t wait for 2008, I think it’s going to be a great year for everyone!
I am trying to avoid new year resolutions this year because as the original post said they are sometimes doomed to failure. Maybe instead I should have resolutions at the start of each month in order to stay focused on whatever I want to change.
Couldn’t agree more! 2008 is going to great year for all of us! I said I was going to fix up my blog, and I actually did it and it’s off to a great start for the New Year. Can’t wait to see where I am come December. (#):) GL to you too!
I just try and say to myself, “Hey, why do you need a special day to start your resolutions? Just go for it now!”
The same question is mine Bush Mackel ! I believe what you need go for it now don’t wait for some occasion.
I can’t believe I’m actually still practicing what I preach in fixing up my own blog! (Of course, it’s still early (#);D )
My new year resolution was to eat less. That work well I just had a huge slice of cake.
My New Year’s Resolution is to get my own personal blog up and running. I really enjoy this blog as it has been an inspiration to me. Hope you and Casey have a great 2008!
Cheers!
