Sure, you’ve heard all the stories about people making $80,000 per month using Adsense. You can try that if you want, but it is just one…and actually one of the riskiest, ways to earn money with your blog or website.
One thing to consider is that Adsense does not reveal how much they pay for each particular click or for any particular click for that matter. Any income generated will depend on the subject your site focuses on and the rates that Google has assigned per ad as well as other factors that we will discuss in future articles. One beneficial advantage to Adsense is that Adsense will provide a source of passive income.
So, once your site is set up, it is wise to invest your time on creating multiple profitable ventures within the framework of your money making blog or website.
It is always ideal to use Adsense revenue potentials as a supplement to another money making plan. You could sell information products through your site, for example, and use your Adsense revenues as additional income for when sales are slow.
The Internet offers a lot of opportunities for anybody to make money online.

· Affiliate programs. Affiliate commissions range from 20-95% per sale. If you take the time to pre-sell rather than just slapping ads up on a site, you can earn nice sums through these.
· Create Products. There is nothing stopping you from creating your own products and selling them through your website or blog in order to make money. If you can create an e-book on a popular topic, for example, you might find clever ways to market it. It might even go viral and make you a multi-millionaire.
· Being a service provider. Got a skill or a talent that other people will find value in? Why not market yourself using your website and earn money by copywriting, creating websites, product design assist, or other intangible services.
· Sell tangible goods. Know how all those folks are making money on E-Bay? They sell you a product through the virtual world and then ship it to you in the real world. You can sell things on your website as well. One of my first profitable ventures was selling used books online.
· Resale rights marketing. If you are like me, this one may be hard to come to terms with, but there are many people who purchase resell rights to a product from it’s producer and then proceed to sell it for a huge and lasting profit. I have one friend who bought the resell rights to a series of Yoga Videos for $500 and has been selling them and a companion e-book for $99 each for the past five years. He makes between $2000 and $10,000 every month. It works. Not only that, but in some cases you can then sell the resell rights to a further group and continue to make money from the same rights in different ways.
These are just some of the many, many ways to earn money online. Your money making blog or website is a portal to untold wealth and early retirement if you take the time to do things right.
So don’t get stuck in the trap of thinking Adsense and other Ad Revenue programs are the only way to go around the world using your blog or website.
