For new bloggers you should post on a bidaily schedule. This is beneficial for many reasons.
First off, you don’t have many readers. By posting every other day, the only thing you can really do is gain readers. They will look at your post dates and probably get used to this regular posting schedule.
Benefits:
1) You can spend more time writing future posts.
2) You can spend more time commenting and reading other blogs.
3) You don’t have to worry about having new content delivered each day.
4) Once you get more readers, you’ll get more focus on each post because they will be up longer.
5) You can spend more time on blog advertising and promotion.
As you start receiving more traffic and more comments, you should think about moving into a daily posting schedule. You can only go so far with posting every other day. By the time you switch schedules, you should have a lot of backup/future posts written just in case.
Note that, you really can’t switch into a bidaily schedule if you are already on a daily schedule, unless you have absolutely zero readers. This is because you will lose readers. They will be used to your daily schedule and think that the blog is dying, or something. You don’t want to risk this!
If you are a new blogger, this is strongly recommended unless you already have a buttload of pre-written content and plan on doing heavy promotion in which you should just jump into a daily schedule.

Hi Casey, I’m tagging you for the “8 Interesting Things about Me” meme. Go to my blog at http://mikesmoneyrants.blogspot.com and read my post and the rules of the tag. You have to create a new post and write 8 interesting facts about yourself. Then choose 8 other bloggers and tag them as well. Then leave them a comment letting them know about the tag and to read your blog so they will know what to do. I hope you join in.
Great tip. I was doing twice a day for a while and am looking to get back into it.
That’s weird, I got tagged by Bush as well! Haha. No way I am doing 16 facts though!
Yeah once you have a set posting schedule it’s important to stick to it and not slow down or else you could lose readers.
I like to post when I have something worthwhile to say. With car news, things can go quiet for a day or two every now and then, I might squeeze in a post if I have something I think readers might find cool, but I think posting just for the sake of keeping to a schedule is a dangerous practice. It’s the quality vs quantity thing.
Somewhat true. Yes, quality is SO much more important than quantity. But, delivering new content regular will be the key to making your readers come back. They want to read more. So, you have to kind of do both.
Always interesting reading your posts. And thanks for the tips
Thanks for reading! Be sure to subscribe.
