In an effort to get out of the negatives from last month, I’m changing my monetization strategies and this is the first step towards that goal. The Ad Icons didn’t work out so well, and I totally see why. They weren’t big enough!

Do you have visitor stats etc? Like how many people would be exposed to the ad over the month? That might be useful information for anyone interested in picking up a spot.

i’ve been doing something similar earlier but i’ve decided to take it off after a while. Since it wasn’t generating much income, and i wanted my site to look less cluttered with more focus on my work.
Yeah that’s a really important thing to keep in mind. My plan is to eliminate adsense and focus on selling directly to advertisers.
As for me, i don’t really mind those ads. As long as they do not take up too much of my space for my articles, i’m ok with it. It’s like a win-win situation.
