On Saturday I quickly talked about a new website, which was known as eVo but I guess it is now called uVme (you versus me, get it?) with a .BIZ domain. Watching their video, it seems they are planning to have it be .com, but it’s not up yet. Here’s a closer look at uVme. See if you REALLY want to participate in this program.
Presentation
There was a lot of hype about this new “market” but the opening was not presented well. You can’t do anything. The messenger on the sidebar (which should be a pop up instead, because it’s annoying) doesn’t work, it just displays folders. (Edit: I just checked this, and it is only doing it in Mozilla) Apparently, the launch was just a redirect to their new website, and revealing some more information about what uVme is all about. You guessed it, it’s another pre-launch phase! Their video on the homepage explains a lot more, but still leaves you in the trance that you are going to be swimming in cash.
Success Stories?
This confused me the most. They have a bunch of people explaining how successful they were… at getting referrals. Congrats on the advertising! The average reader will see these stories as “I have made so much money by doing absolutely nothing, and you can too!”. Not one of them talked about making money, and that’s because you can’t yet. Very evil trickery to convince people to join though.
Earnings Breakdown
This is complicated. There are nine ways to earn on uVme. Here are two of the ways you can earn money.
Fast Start Bonus
For each ASSOCIATE you personally sponsor who becomes “active ” within their first 28 days of joining, you earn £100. And for each active ASSOCIATE you sponsor who sponsors another ASSOCIATE who qualifies within their first 28 days, you get £20 (“Fast Start Bonus 2″).
“To qualify as “active“, you need to sponsor a minimum of two players who turn over a combined £/$/€20. The £/$/€20 turnover can come from any number of players, but no more than £/$/€10 from one player can count toward the qualification. To make this even simpler, one of the players can be you.” SO simply right?
Generation Bonus
From your downline, you earn:
3% on your Generations 1 & 2
4% on your Generations 3, 4 & 5
5% on your Generations 6 & 7
This makes… no sense. Normally, you earn more from your closer downlines. Each referral has to have the active status as well though.
PSP versus BA
There are two types of people in your “team”. The first one is a Personally Sponsored Player and the other is a Business Associate. They didn’t explain the difference, and it just stirs up more confusing nonsense.
The Catch
Aha! The only part that I actually understand. Unsurprisingly, there is a catch to this new generation, the market that “is going to be worth $412 every second”. What was surprising was how big the catch is. It’s pretty darn big!
Joining fee – £199.97 (about $275). You may think you got out of a fee because you’ve already signed up, and they haven’t asked for anything! Great huh? Nope. This is still pre-launch phase.
Monthly “licence fee” – £65 (about $70). The joining fee was mind bottling, but learning that there is a MONTHLY fee?
Game fee – £1. And here is the last fee (unless they have more hidden) that puts the cherry on top. This was the fee I was expecting at first, but with the pricey fees you have to spend just to be able to be a member, I wouldn’t have expected it.
Ouchey mama!
You can find the fee information in their FAQ’s. They make you think you can “easily” cover the costs with active referral bonuses. Well, let’s just hope you have a lot of referrals!
A Lesson Learnt
What has this taught me? Don’t believe it until you’ve seen it. The average person will dive into this website with a high expectancy, thinking that they are going to be making “$412 each second”. They’ll be thinking they are making tons of money while they are sleeping, and save up for that new yacht! Look past the cover, and see what it really is all about.

Interesting view Casey. You kinda described the site well. It is basically a redirect to this new not quite complete site that is pretty confusing. I was hoping and still am that they will work out all the kinks with it and get it running correctly.
“There are two types of people in your “team”. The first one is a Personally Sponsored Player and the other is a Business Associate. They didn’t explain the difference, and it just stirs up more confusing nonsense.”
Ok to try to clear this up a little…a PSP is just a person you refer to the site that wants to play games and make friends. THey are going to be a game player and are not an affiliate like you are who refers people to the site. They will get no pay plan…they simply play the games with money and earn or lose money based on whether they win or lose. Basically like those that play at Worldwinner.com or Pogo.com.
The Business associate is someone that is going to be like you. They want to make money by referring people to the site and building a team much like you are. Ok lets see what else….
Ahhh yes the fee….I agree it is rather steep but I mean most all MLMs have fees to get in and then a fee to be a member every month. The famous Automatic Builder/Nutronix rage that hit the net cost $300 to join originally and then $100 a month after that for the regular member. Plus $9.95 for hosting from Automatic builder soooo the fee for EVO isnt really that outrageous comparatively. I’m not really sure how the game fee is going to work. I’m guessing you pay 1 euro to play and whoever wins the game gets like 3.50 much like pogo or worldwinner.com all ready does.
And yes you are right many people will dive in head first being like O man im gonna make tons of money by doing nothing….ALOT like that program The Berry Tree promises. Lets just say I dropped that one in a heartbeat. Hopefully I helped everyone understand it a little more. I meant no harm by this post and was just trying to help. Have a good day! Look forward to your next post.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I think they should have made the program and payout ways a lot simpler, that’s all. The difference between a PSP and BA is pretty much pointless. I guess I haven’t been around MLM schemes much, even so you would have to have a lot of hard working referrals to be covering the fee’s and make money.
When ever I see something that costs hundreds of dollars to join, my eyes just kinda glaze over.
Thanks for the explanation, i got linked to their site in one forum and was trying to see where is the catch. You saved a lot of my time. The fees are high indeed and there’s already things like worldwinner. I can’t see it will be successful.
This will be a great succees. VWD have done thier home work. I will joining on day 1.
I think it’s great being able to join in this pre launch stage. You can get as many people in before they have to pay. These are known as prospect. When the site goes live I fully expect to recoup my fees in the first few days. I only need 2 or3 people to join at the same time as me and become active. Then I have cover the first of my fees.
As for the fees can I correct you. The price is 197.99 it’s £ in the Uk,Euros in europe and $ in the usa and the rest of the world.
There is still lots to learn about this product, I for one will take the time to learn all I can.
I will get to as many events as I can. The next one is in Dartford on Sunday the 29 July 07.
There will be those who watch us make money and there will be those who do. Which one will you be?
Yeah Bush, it’s kind of difficult to invest a lot and take a risk!
It will probably be somewhat successful, but only to those with big downlines. Glad you liked my review though!
Some people can make money in other ways.
Only few people will be able to be successful with this. With people with small downlines, if the downlines don’t make money, you don’t make money, and they might even quit. For the ones that have huge downlines they will probably get more of a profit and be able to cover fees without worrying about their downline collapsing. So, two or three people may not cut it as a downline!
Hi Casey,
I’ve to say ‘wow !’ as this review came from a 15 years old.
At this moment I still remain ‘neutral’ though my first impression
of the new uVme site was really awful.
Those photographs on the front page have done more damages
to the opp. than anything else.
Yeah, the pay plan is kind of ‘confusing’ for an average person
to fully understand.
It’s actually a very good biz opp. with very popular as well as
lucrative products/web trends. Unfortunately it hasn’t got
organized and started off properly. 5 weeks of pre-registration
plus another 2 months of ‘pre-launch’ are somewhat crazy in my
own humble opinion as a seasoned network marketer. I bet 95%
of the people who ‘pre-registered’ may never even bother to
login to their new uVme sites at all ! The pre-registration is
just a kind of ‘hoohah’.
Lets see what’s going to happen over the next few months.
Time always reveal the truth.
Cheers and happy blogging !

It is intersting reading Casey’s post and the comments made by others.
Let me start first of all by saying that some people have vision to see the big picture and others simply do not.
What VWD have put together is simply genious. They have combined 3 major trends under the one roof:
1. social networking platform- one of the fastest growing trends on the internet at the present and prdicted to grow even further. uVme is also a social networking platform, excpet with heart and soul, the engine behind uvme’s social networking platform is:
2. Casual skill games or family entertainment platform- Again if you do your reaseach by going to google and seaching for “online casusal ganes” and then NEWS, you will be able to find out exactly what is happening to this industry and the huge explosion in growth over the next few years. You may want to see some of this reseach on my blog by going to http://www.advancenotice.co.uk/blog.
3. A vey generous and powerful MLM pay plan- This is anm option for all those who want to have fun and entertain themselves but yet at the same time be involved in the income generating plan.
SO SIMPLY PUT, PEOPLE CAN SOCIALISE AND MEET NEW FRIENDS AND HAVE FUN AND ENTERTAIN THEMSELVES IN ONE TO ONE CHALLENGES, OR TOURNAMENTS, AND AT THE SAME TIME MAKE AN INCOME.
This bussiness opportunity is unique, and VWD are the first ever company to entre the market place with exciting business and social networking modle, with the engine behind it a casual skill or family entertainment. There will be others who may follow VWD in the future by they are the market leader and the first.
Now lets look at it logically, the markets above are growing so fast, in fact the casual games and social networking are groweing 4 times fastwer than the internet intself. How much would ot cost you to be able to set up a similar business as VWD are offering the mases? The answer is a huge investment in money, time, development and support structure.
So I like to ask does any one know of a business never mind a global business, in your local town or city that has a start up cost of £$€200 and £$€65 permonth over head? By the way Casey it is the same amount for £$€, so the currency exchange does not come into it.
I look forward to someone responding to my question?
So here we have a global business that can be yours for £$€2.86 per day, with all the support, development cost and investment. This is less than the cost of a big mac meal or half a pint of beer, at least if you are in the UK. An investment in your own future and your families security. Isn’t that a investement worth paying?
Now we are still in pre-launch phase, which means the project is still being twicked and enhanced so the whole system can run smoothly. Huge numbers of people have registered so far so to intergratye the data and the entire system is a huge task that the compsany are sorting as I write this.
No omne has to commit financially until October this year when the grand opening is going to be. Everyone gets everything for free as of now, so everyone can evalutate the business before they decide if they would like to join the business side of this project.
In fact after the hgrand opening in October, everyone can still join for free in the social community site and get involved in the casual games have fun and entertain themselves if they want, but yet at the same time there is a choice for all those who want to benefit from the income part of the project.
The system may not be functionining 100% at the moment, but as I said we are still in pre-launch, and the company decided in opeining the doors fully in phases so they can see the challenges and the bugs before the main grand opening in October so they can be sorted out. This to me makes a great deal of business sense.
I truly believe uVme will be a global brand, and a house hold name in a few years, and it is early days and nothing has launched yet, so it is important to give it a chance to prove itself. I like to see how people may feel in another 12 months.
But to me as a business person, and looking at this logically and not emotionally it makes a great deal of sense, I am getting started and nothing will deter me, I am one of those who says ” I rather try and fail than never try at all”.
Finally PSP is a person who you have personally sponsored and introduced the business to, and a BA is a team member with in your multi level business structure introduced by others in your group.
I also believe everyone has the right to their opinion, it does not make any one right or wrong we just think in different ways. I personally rather give positive feed backs to the company and let them know of the bugs in the system I encounter so they know about it and can put it right, than sit there being negative, moaning and groaning and being tottaly negative. Not much can ever be achieved by having latter mind set.
Many of great achievers in our history were the ones who faced the challenges they came across head on, and did not fall at the first hurdle, or did not listen to other peopl’s opinions but only their own belief.
And finally some more food for thought:
“While the middle class spends most of their time in a victim state of mind, the world class grows up and gets going. The great ones reach the realization that victim mentality is a waste of time and mental energy and refuse to wallow in it. Instead, they focus their thoughts on fulfilling their goals, dreams, and visions. Is it any wonder why the middle class can’t compete with the world class? One is complaining about how tough life is and the other is a high performance thought machine laser focused on winning. It’s a complete mismatch from the start.” –Steve Siebold, author, 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class
Thanks Schee for your comments! That’s what I realized too, but forgot to talk about. Another two months of “pre-launch” is ridiculous. You’re right, I bet a lot of members will forget to come back.
Hey parvis,
I saw your post in moderation but I guess it was too long to show up here! That’s weird.
it is a bit odd Casey, as my comments on my post really spoke the truth about a incredible global opportunity and explained things from a business persons perspective and clear explanation on your comments. My post was not much longer than Ryan’s, which is your first post further up.
Please email me the comments, to p.parvizi@btinternet.com so I can shorten it and post back again.
By the way just to explain the reason for the different phases towards the grand opening was the fact that the company wanted the following:
1. A pre pre-launch phase so people can start populating their social community site using the EVO pre application web site. This was between 10th June to 15th July.
2. Pre launch phase started on 15th July. Reason for this was for the company to integrate the data (we had over 150,000 people registering in the above phase), with their new servers and to make sure all features such as the instant messanger the company has developed, is linked correctly to the data. In this phase no one has to commit financially, so no one can complain while the company is clearing all the bugs in the system and get the whole system to function smoothly.
3. Grand opening in Autumn this year. By then all systyem in perfect working order and we are good to go.
This to me makes perfect business sense. After all Rome was not built in one day.
Please email me the post I put up earlier so I can reduce the content and put it back up again as I feel it is important for people to see the real vision and the big picture regarding this unique global opportunity.

Actually Parvis, your comment was a lot longer but I have e-mailed it to you! Thanks!
