Notice anything different? Well, hopefully.
Welcome to News Notion version 3! I told you I was going to get a blog redesign, and I did. So, here it is!
This is News Notion’s third official design change. Here were the previous ones:
News Notion v1:
I really liked this layout- the color, the design, everything. The only thing that frustrated me was there was not much room for content, it seemed to be mushed in the center.
News Notion v2:
I picked this because of it’s simplicity. It had a two-column sidebar and plenty of space for content which is exactly what I wanted. Just kind of got sick of it with it’s lack of uniqueness.
And now version three. I’ve finally branched out of the free theme zone and am with the big boys with a custom made theme! Sure I didn’t spend $1000+ with a design company, but still. I like the style of this theme, especially the color. Green makes me think of money, and heck this is a make money online blog! I guess I sort have branded myself with the color. Speaking of branding, I am getting a custom mascot made to use as my new logo. So don’t get used to the money bags one I’ve got now! Haha!
I’d like to thank Etherfast of BEC Media for the great job done with this blog redesign. For those who are interested, BEC Media offers awesome custom site and blog designs as low as $120. Yep. That’s how much it cost me. ‘Etherfast’ worked excellent with me and I enjoyed the way it went. Even though I was very picky!
Like it? Hate it? Drop a comment and let me know!

I like it. Very Web 2.0. Lots of rounded corners, and plenty of advertising space.
Very Nice!
Looks nice, Casey! The only thing I didn’t like was the kind of Grey used in the sidebar columns. Looks a bit bland to me. Other than that, the layout suits a professional blog.
Very nice Casey. I think thinks look very good but it seems like there’s a lot of empty space in those bubbles at the top of your blog. But all in all, huge improvement. Congrats!
Hey there, it looks good.
There is a small problem with the from our blog section and the dink that s cut out not aligning or having proper shadowing.
I would get them to fix that if they can but apart from that it’s fantastic.
Thanks guys!
@ Sarat – What color would you prefer? Making it white as well?
@ Bush – Yeah they’ll fill up as time goes by.
@ Forest – Could you send in a screenie of what you mean?
It’s refreshing, but you could have gotten a lot better for $120… I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for a layout like this.
Yes, white would be good; or a better looking shade of grey.
I like it Casey, but honestly, I think you could’ve gotten a lot more for what you spent. I just think it could “pop” a little more, if you know what I mean. But not to be negative, I DO like it. Congratulations!
Hi Casey just stopping by quickly. I will try and take a screen shot and send it to you tomorrow.
