I do php & vb coding for people.

I spent a dull half an hour decoding someone\’s encoding scripts (which the maker kindly sourcecopped for him).

I\’ve been looking into your rankings and backlinks, and your site has a very low amount of (if any) backlinks. This means that if google did update its pagerank, you would still be at zero.

Backlinks are what make your site grow. if you get a pagerank 4 site to link to your site, you\’ll have around a pagerank 1.

You need to advertise your site more, submit to directories, post in forums, or buy a little space on a website.

look at your backlinks versus my backlinks on a domain without a site on it.

The links don’t work. And I thought 2000+ backlinks were a lot? Not sure where you are getting your information from.

I read in a forum (reliable source i know!) that if the PR update happens then it will work in a different way to how we are used to. Whether it’s true or not, i don’t know. Could explain why it’s taken so long to update this time around though.

Blogs get low Ad earnings compared to content sites, but blogs get more traffic….

Work more on content sites and divert traffic to them using blogs

This is a fabulous post. I do many of these things already, but look forward to implementing the others. The good resource should be brought in bookmarks. I agree with the majority of it, it seems to make sense. Keep blogging.
